Truckee / North Tahoe Local First

Truckee/North Tahoe Local First celebrated Earth Day in the month of April and we're currently selling Local First t-shirts, bumper stickers, and other great swag. Participants who came to our booth and made local pledges or posted reasons why they support local, independent businesses spun our new Local First Prize Wheel for logo-emblazoned bumper stickers and a customized Cheat Sheet to steals and deals during the quiet season in Truckee and North Tahoe.

"I will shop at the farmer's market at least five times this summer."
"I will start using canvas bags."
"I will use my Klean Kanteen instead of purchasing water bottles."
"I will ride my bike to work one time a week."
"I will by three books from Truckee Book & Bean this year."

"I will start a compost pile."
"I will support my local farmers."
"I will remember to bring my reusable coffee cup to my local coffee shop."
