- Help you take advantage of PG&E rebates to make your office, refrigeration, HVAC, and kitchen/food service equipment more efficient
How it works:
Step 1 An interested business or building owner contacts Sierra Nevada Energy Watch to determine eligibility for the program.
Step 2 Sierra Nevada Energy Watch program staff obtains a Site Access Agreement from the owner and then performs a free, non-obligatory energy survey to identify potential opportunities.
Step 3 A report is generated indicating energy efficiency opportunities at the site, qualifying program incentives, and savings estimates.
Step 4 The Sierra Nevada Energy Watch staff coordinates the installation by contacting a local contractor.
Step 5 The contractor installs the equipment under the terms of the agreement with the business and under required terms and conditions of the Sierra Nevada Energy Watch Program. Program incentives are included in all program contractor bids.
Step 6 The program completes its review of the incentive application, which can include an inspection of the work, and pays the program incentive to the contractor.
Step 7 The business owner pays the contractor for any work not covered by the program, according to the terms of their agreement.
Step 8 A Program Administrator may contact a customer for a pre- and post-installation inspection and customer satisfaction inquiry. Download FAQs For more information please contact our Sierra Nevada Energy Watch Staff at snew@sbcouncil.org or 209-532-7200. |
