The Energy Watch Tune-up is a great way for businesses to save energy and money. This regional program provides a comprehensive energy assessment, delivers money saving measures, and connects businesses with other energy saving opportunities. This program offers assistance with energy assessments of government facilities and provides energy efficiency equipment. Many of these items are offered free of charge to qualifying customers. We can also help you with greenhouse gas inventories and policy design to reduce your community's energy usage. Residential Programs We don't offer home energy audits at this time. Sierra Nevada Energy Watch is a local government partnership of Sierra Business Council and Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E). Overseen by the California Public Utility Commission (CPUC), local government partnership programs are designed to deliver cost effective energy efficiency measures and program services, while fostering long-term community commitment to energy reduction. The mission of the Sierra Nevada Energy Watch is to reduce energy consumption in the Sierra Nevada while promoting green economic development, social fairness, and long-term environmental quality. The program has set specific goals related to energy conservation in the region and seeks to address and achieve these goals through a set of strategies that embrace and reinforce broader sustainability objective.
