» White Pine School District FUELS FOR SCHOOLS

Heating technologies using forest products such as chips, firewood, pellets, and cellulose biofuel is addressed in other categories.

Here, we focus on building and district heating projects that may, in addition to using these aforementioned forest fuels, also simultaneously use as a fuel source the waste products of communities in the forest, in combination with green waste from forest thinning. These projects also provide rural energy security for homes and businesses, lower operating costs for schools and government buildings, and lessen the environmental impact of the daily activities of people living in the forest.

In this category you will find Fuels For Schools, and similar programs.
