General Plan Updates

Downtown Truckee, CaliforniaThe SBC has been intimately involved in three general plan processes: June Lake, Minden, and most recently Truckee. In Minden, the SBC helped contract RACESTUDIO to develop a comprehensive plan for investing in Minden’s future. The Minden Plan for Prosperity directs new investment to the town’s center and re-connects the town’s neighborhoods. The plan was unanimously approved by the Town Council in November 2002 and the Douglas County Board of Commmissioners in early 2003. Like a similar project in June Lake, the SBC uses this plan as a model to share with other communities.
