Green Communities Intern Manager

Professional Experience

James is the Intern Manager of the PG&E Green Communities Program. He is an experienced urban and environmental planner with over 14 years of experience. Prior to joining SBC, James worked as a planning consultant in the Central Valley of California with a focus on comprehensive planning projects such as General and Specific Plans. James has also worked on many California Environmental Quality Act compliance projects. Throughout his career, he has developed strong working relationships with local jurisdictions, government agencies, developers, and members of the local community.  

Education

James received a B.A. in Geography from California State University, Chico.

Personal Highlights

James was born in the Central Valley of California and has always had a passion for the mountains. James has lived in many areas of California, Colorado,  Hawaii, and moved to Reno, Nevada, with his wife Jill, in 2007. He enjoys skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, road biking and photography.
