Our goal is to explore and discuss the challenges, opportunities and tools for biomass utilization in the Sierra Nevada. We will introduce tools, focusing on stewardship contracting, for enhancing the removal and productive use of biomass from the region’s forestlands. The nuts and bolts of stewardship contracting will be examined, focusing on developing collaborative contracts between community partners and the Forest Service to achieve multiple ecological, community, and economic benefits. Registration information and fees can be found by using the link above.
